Amethyst has long been one of the most popular forms of quartz; its colour associating it with royalty and power.  These days it retains its popularity being one of the few affordable purple gemstones and since it is plentiful it is not hard to find nice, clean stones at a good price. I offer amethyst in two colours and grades; a mid-purple which is superbly clean Brazilian material, and a deep, rich grape purple which is African material. This has a few inclusions but these are quite hard to see due to the much deeper colour.
