Aquamarine is a great stone; a lovely delicate colour and great clarity. It's relatively easy to find sizeable clean stones. It also takes a fantastic polish so usually has great fire and sparkle. I have brilliant cut gemstones in almost clean material, and a lovely pale sea-green.
